Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIPA)

RIPA is the means by which the State sets out its obligations to its subjects and the means by which they can obtain redress if the State exceeds or ignores its obligations. A number of subsequent Orders have become law under this primary legislation and they are not all widely known.
