Nigel Espin MBA, Dip. M,
Nigel is Managing Director and heads our private sector practice. Formerly Vice President Corporate Security & Anti-Illicit Trade Operations for a global FMCG company and previously head of security for a UK automotive manufacturer. He has directed investigations and security programmes worldwide and has liaised at senior levels with international law enforcement and service providers. Nigel’s experience across numerous industry sectors is underpinned by a first career as a detective and senior officer in the UK Police. He has worked in companies with highly unionised environments. Nigel holds an MBA and post-graduate Diplomas in Marketing and Management Studies and is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).
Phil is Director of the Public Sector and Policing Skills practice within Espin Hanson. Formerly Assistant Chief Constable with a UK police force, Phil, a career detective, had a portfolio of responsibilities that included Criminal Justice and Crime Investigation. Through his work with the UK’s College of Policing and the Bramshill Police Staff College, Phil maintains his involvement at the strategic level in policing in the UK. A member of the International Association of Chiefs Police, Phil has a specialist interest in the ongoing development and continuous improvement in covert policing concepts and skills.
Graham Rabone CPP
Graham is a specialist hostage negotiator with international experience and a casebook covering almost 200 cases. A career detective and senior officer in a UK police force, Graham augmented his police experience with international experience in a corporate security management role covering Europe, Middle East, Africa and Turkey, within the FMCG sector. Graham is a former member of the Directing Staff of the National Negotiator’s and National ‘Red Centre’ courses and a member of the National Negotiating Group. He has trained law enforcement officers in the UK, USA and the Middle East. Graham holds a Certified Protection Professional qualification and is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).
